Fisterra - Lires 16.4 km November 6

This morning we see patches of blue sky and after a very delicious breakfast we decide to complete the walk along the Death Coast into Muxia over the next two days...we still have 2 full weeks until we fly home.

We leave our hotel...
on the path by the beach and notice this powerful fishing vessel
On our walk we can't always see the ocean
But we can always hear it!
We notice this couple hand picking and husking corn....
And for a while the littlest hobo joins us!
Our path today is a two way path between Fisterra and Muxia so the way markers are also shared.

We met  pilgrims on the path today that we had previously met in Olveiroa ....when we decided to take a cab into Fisterra ...they decided to walk.  From the details they shared with us I am glad we skipped that part.  While some 'love' crossing boot deep water sodden paths and find it 'exhilarating '...it's not for me/us.  One of these committed pilgrims was from South Africa and one was from GTA....Toronto...(really?)

We reach Lires and check into the Casa Rual
The view from our room with a balcony (and bathroom!) 35 Euros
I am not sure of the population of Lires...and neither is google, but there is not a grocery or convenience store to be found.
