After one more night of listening to heavy rain and combined wind, when we went for breakfast in the morning we both knew we were done walking. We have done our best and it's ok. The Pension owner turned taxi driver loaded us and 2 other weary pilgrims into his van and for 12.50 Euros each he drove for 30 minutes and delivered us right to Fisterra
We are checked into this lovely place
A family run business the Alen do Mar. The pic is only the lobby...we are lucky door # 7
And are maybe 50 meters to the Atlantic Ocean/ Bay of Biscay
The temp is about 17 degrees (and raining), our window is open and we can see and hear the ocean loud and clear. I love that.
We are about a 30 minute walk into Fisterra
Fisterra is the westren most point of Spain on the south end of the Bay of Biscay
We walk back on the beach
IF the weather improves we will consider walking the coast up to Muxia, if not we are very happy to stay here for a few days and poke around this coast at a much slower pace!
