Day of Rest October 19

It says it is a spa but the spa facilities are 12 euros per person extra.  We pass.  This morning we have a late breakfast
Of toast and coffee.  We do a perusal of the local groceries store .  So interesting in a foreign country
Ham
Fish
Octopus
And calamari
We walk through the Caterdal St. Marta
The entry
And the adjoining bell tower
The weather network forecast was for rain today.  It's not raining.
We tour the museum which was built as the Bishops Palace by the sensational Gaudi
It is beautiful , the stained glass is stunning
So much to see
The building was never used as a Bishops palace
It is a pleasure to walk through
We find this camino shop
And have a chat with the shop keeper about affairs in Spain.  Spain has a population of just over 40 million.  The shopkeeper said the unemployment rate in Spain is at 27% and the under 35 age group is at 50% unemployment.  He has six children, they were all educated in Spain but have all left the country to find employment.  He says the business of government is too top heavy and not sustainable (sounds familiar). We feel so bad for him that Sid buys another jackknife . We spend the afternoon watching golf on television.
