We walk along side the ever purring wind turbines
We stop for coffee at 10 km in Hontanas
Along our way
And more vista
At San Anton
We see our destination in the distance
Notice the castle at the top of the mountain. For reasons I can't explain after we check in to this lovely place -el Veredero
...which is new since June 2013 (35 Euros private room & private bathroom) we climb up to the castle. Going up is not so hard, coming down....yikes
We do have some great views from on high
It is windy up here
We thought we would have lunch here but I am worried about coming down
We do safely get down and back to our room with its own view!
We take our lunch to the patio here and see that Luc, the fellow from Belgium , that we previously solved the worlds problems with in another village is here also. We have lunch and chat with him for a bit.
The guide book says this village has a population of 600 and seems to be permanently occupied with siesta except during the garlic festival in July!
We find the mercado and buy supplies for breakfast and lunch tomorrow and decide on take out pizza for tonight . While we are waiting for the pizza 2 of the Acadian Canadians saunter by. They are doing ok, one of the four has had back issues but they are continuing on!
